Each year, all students Kindergarten \u2013 5th grade will be
\nintroduced to the Child Safety Matters curriculum. Child Safety
\nMatters is an abuse prevention education curriculum designed for
\nelementary-aged children created by the Monique Burr Foundation.
\nThis district approved curriculum introduces students to personal
\nsafety, understanding safe and unsafe situations, and teaching them
\n5 Safety Rules to use in any situation when they may feel unsafe. This
\ncurriculum meets the state mandate to teach Child Trafficking
